Who is Dreamy Dish?
Jenn

Jenn loves food.  Even though her mom didn’t allow her in the kitchen when
she was younger, she’s managed to make up for lost time.  Cooking is a journey,
a passion and even sometimes . . . a bit of an obsession.

Jenn is the official cook, food stylist and budding photographer of this little operation.

In her time away from the kitchen, she’s a grad student at Yale, in pursuit of
becoming a family nurse practitioner.

Kurt doesn’t want a thing to do with actual cooking, but much like Jenn, he loves to eat, so he serves as the official Dreamy Dish ‘Food Taster’.  In addition, his photographic ability is second to none, so when Jenn gets herself into a bit of a photography snafu (which happens, er, occasionally), Kurt comes to her rescue every time.

What is Dreamy Dish?
A food blog for the home cook.  Let’s be real — cooking can be a chore day-after-day if you aren’t armed with quick and delicious recipes that satisfy.  Hopefully you will find inspiration, helpful advice, and even learn a trick or two that makes cooking a joy!

Where is Dreamy Dish?
Dreamy Dish is currently located in New Haven, CT.  From a tiny kitchen in a downtown apartment, we’re equipped with an electric stove, microwave, dishwasher (thank the heavens, as this wasn’t always the case!), and a few choice pieces of kitchen equipment and gadgets that one shouldn’t cook without (see Favorites).

In exciting news, Dreamy Dish will be moving to NYC in June 2010!

When is Dreamy Dish?
Every chance Jenn gets . . . she wakes up thinking about food, spends her many hours in class free time browsing sites for new recipes, and hits farmers’ markets on the weekends for the kind of produce that can bring a tear to her eye.

Why Dreamy Dish?
Simply, to make Julia Child and Ina Garten proud.
